I notice a few posts on the RR community, which I am subscribed to, which are not visible to me because I am not a financial supporter of their community, if this carries on as it is going, there will be no posts visible to me except those by Dave, & any whose originators have decided to allow free access to, that's not what I envisioned when I joined RR community & was encouraged to create my own free community, it's all turning into the money-trap that the rest of the online world is infected by, shutting out the little guy shutting out the voices of the poorest members of our societies, I don't think that's good.. I believe it will make locals an exclusive club for those with the means to afford to be members of a host of communities, whose very exclusivity will make their 'grass-roots' claim a hollow one.. my two cents.. 😇
Saturday, late afternoon, the remanants of a cup of coffee have gone cold, the fire is warm, making the room seem cosier than it would otherwise be. The rain is intermittent, but a downpour is sure to come. Got a stinker of a cold, so informed Deacon that unfortunately, I won't be attending service tomorrow.
Going to have a nice hot meal, of roast beef, potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic & herbs, with a side of steamed savoy cabbage, done over the pan of pot's.
I think a hot bath and early bed, are definitely on the cards for tonight, I'll read until I can't, then I'll put out the light & go to sleep. I've got cocoa, so a big mug of steaming hot cocoa beteween exiting the bath & going to bed, will be a nice way to end the evening.
