When I was young, we listened to music, played by bands, with actual people & real instruments, that the band members could actually play.

Now the youth are listening to machine made music, with any vocals put through a modulator, to make sure the result is in tune with the machine noise.
Even vocals can now be provided by Ai programs, as long as they are simple, repetitive noises of two syllables or less..
